   <h3 id="hd_id3150439" dir="auto">Formatos directo y por estilos</h3>
   <p id="par_id431619103899855" class="paragraph" dir="auto">A style is a set of formatting attributes, grouped and identified by a name (the style name). When you apply a style to an object, the object is formatted with the set of attributes of the style. Several objects of same nature can have the same style. As consequence, when you change the set of formatting attributes of the style, all objects associated with the style also change their formatting attributes accordingly. Use styles to uniformly format a large set of paragraphs, cells, and objects and better manage the formatting of documents.</p>
   <p id="par_id3159254" class="paragraph" dir="auto">Cuando no utiliza estilos y aplica atributos de formato al texto de manera directa, a esto se le conoce como «formato directo» (o «manual»). Este formato se aplica solo a las áreas del documento que seleccione. Si el documento tiene varios párrafos, marcos o cualquier otro objeto, deberá aplicar el formato a cada uno de estos. El formato directo está disponible en el menú y la barra de herramientas Formato.</p>
    <p id="par_id971619105747398" class="paragraph" dir="auto">Si se aplica un atributo de formato directo en un objeto, este prevalece sobre el mismo atributo que provenga del estilo aplicado en el objeto.</p>
