    <p id="par_id301585177069332" class="paragraph" dir="auto">Calc offers the Subtotals tool as a more comprehensive alternative to the <a target="_top" href="es/text/scalc/01/04060106.html#Section12">SUBTOTAL function</a>. In contrast to SUBTOTAL, which only works on a single array, the Subtotals tool can create subtotals for up to three arrays arranged in labeled columns. It also groups subtotals by category and sorts them automatically, thereby eliminating the need to apply AutoFilters and filter categories by hand.</p>

        <p id="par_id241585177550504" class="listitem" dir="auto">Select the cell range for the subtotals that you want to calculate, and remember to include the column heading labels. Alternatively, click on a single cell within your data to allow Calc to automatically identify the range.</p>

<h2 id="hd_id211585178799496" dir="auto">Esquema de subtotales</h2>
<p id="par_id841585178819108" class="paragraph" dir="auto">Cuando utiliza la herramienta Subtotales, Calc inserta un esquema a la izquierda de la columna de números de fila. Este esquema representa la estructura jerárquica de sus subtotales y puede utilizarse para ocultar o mostrar datos a varios niveles de la jerarquía, a través de los indicadores de columna numerados que se encuentran en la parte superior del esquema, o bien, mediante los indicadores de grupo, representados por los signos de suma (<span class="emph">+</span>) y de resta (<span class="emph">−</span>).</p>
<p id="par_id371585181820075" class="paragraph" dir="auto">Esta funcionalidad resulta útil cuando se manejan cantidades grandes de subtotales, ya que le permite ocultar los detalles de bajo nivel y crear una síntesis general de sus datos.</p>
<p id="par_id161585178829165" class="paragraph" dir="auto">Para desactivar los esquemas, accione <span class="menuitem">Datos ▸ Grupo y esquema ▸ Quitar esquema</span>. Para restaurarlos, vaya a <span class="menuitem">Datos ▸ Grupo y esquema ▸ Esquema automático</span>.</p>
